"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as EAGLES
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not
faint"
Isaiah 40:31 |

Times Past Morgans is
owned and operated by three generations of
the Amick family in wild, wonderful West
Virginia. As we celebrate equine history
past, present and future, our family
pulls together, sharing the load. Our
goal is to preserve, perpetuate and promote
the foundation Morgan horse.
As seasons change our emphasis remains the
same. We are dedicated to educating breeders
on ways to produce foundation Morgan horses
that can remain physically, mentally and
reproductively sound. We offer clinics and
evaluations in an effort to develop
educational programs. These programs help
foster voluntary adherence to the
traditional breed goals and objectives.
In our effort to pass the torch to the
future generation a children's program has
evolved and introduces the Morgan as the
can do horse. The children are educated
in Morgan history and also taught basic
skills of good horsemanship. The kids are
then given the challenge of advancing their
skills through competition. The Morgan horse
is a successful competitor at all levels of
competitive sports.
Our horses are Brunk and Lippitt bred and we
are now introducing remnants of the
endangered Bulrush family. With the
introduction of new blood we anticipate
hybrid vigor in our herd. Times Past Morgans
is committed to helping protect the future
of all families and disciplines of the
Morgan breed.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man
hear my voice, and
open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup
with him, and he with me. |
