The WHOA Program

Our program, WHOA ( With Hearts Open to ALL), is designed to get kids away from the computer and TV, and off the couch. It promotes fitness and an interest in something a little larger in scope than themselves. We believe we are at a critical moment in time with our relationship to the horse. As life comes at us faster and faster, programs like WHOA are a place where we "can catch our breath and prepare for the challenge ahead."

The challenge as WHOA perceives it, is the devaluing of the horse in today's world. We see the current economy, over-burdened rescue operations and slaughter of horses as precursors to a time in the not-too-distant future when horses could become a burden to society. Horses represent our higher mind and our deepest passions. We have valued them in work, in war and in life. We need to educate the future generations, or the horse industry, as we know it now, is going to decline and suffer. Horse owners have to pull together as a team.
