Hast thou given the horse
strength? Hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
Cans't thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? The glory of his
nostrils is terrible.
He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on
to meet the armed men.He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted, neither turneth he back
from the sword.
JOB 39: 19-22
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and
he
that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in
righteousness he doth judge and make war...Revelation
19:11-21

To concentrate genetics generation after
generation is to compromise traits. Yes, we
strengthen the good traits but we also
intensify the potential for bad traits. At Times
Past our goal is to utilize AI and outcross
to lines that have the early basis of our
lines. We will bring in a few lines somewhat
related but a bit different. We are
seeking hybrid vigor in a new mix
that could possibly someday be a noted cross.
Bulrush was the third and often least
honored son of Justin Morgan. He was not
promoted by great victories on the race
course and often remained concealed by the
shadows of time. Bulrush was a working man's
horse and his progeny pulled together
and made possible the very foundation
of a nation on the move. He never did
found a family of his own but his
endurance and stamina bolstered the other
lines and welded the Morgan as we know him
today. There is an old quote that goes
something like this: "A boy can sooner wear
out an iron hobby horse, than a man can wear
out a Bulrush". We lost the tailmale
line of Bulrush in the last 15 years. So
with an iron constitution, let us now
collect and cherish the remaining slender
threads of his remnant.

EagleFeather of TimesPast
Montana Harvest X Quietude Santa Catalina)
EagleFeather is our first outcross and a
potential up and coming stallion for Times
Past. His sire, Montana Harvest, is a Breyer
Model. He is a buckskin Morgan stallion
noted for his athletic ability,
conformation, color and a great disposition.
He was Reserve Reining Champion at the Grand
National Morgan Championships as a 4-year
old, as well as winning open reining
championships at some of the most
competitive shows in the West. This
uniquely-colored Morgan has dapples from
neck to tail and a dorsal stripe.
EagleFeather is the result of the
introduction of new blood into our Brunk and
Lippitt bred herd. He has the hybrid vigor
we anticipated from the breeding.

Testimonial from Pam
McDermott of Dawn Wind Morgans
We have a
nucleus of mares that represent increasingly
rare Morgan blood. In addition, they are clean
in that they have no modern-day dilutions. Dawn
Wind Morgans are representative of Red Correll, JubileeKing, Linsley, Romanesque, Mountcrest Sellman, The
Admiral, and Flyhawk lines. We look for individuals
who are physically, mentally, and
temperamentally
sound. We have a stallion who exudes this. What
we were missing was the old baroque type and
links to Ashbrook, whom we respect highly,
without any government blood added in. We feel
we have found this in Braveheart of Timespast.
In addition, he has a wonderful disposition to
be around and sound legs/wonderful Morgan shoulder, etc.
Bringing Braveheart to Dawn Wind has
completed the picture. From here we will
eventually keep a son of his from one of our
mares. Our band is now officially closed. We
are profoundly appreciative to Timespast for
allowing us to
bring Braveheart here and we look forward to
a continued Morgan relationship!
